More of the stupendous season of wildflowers at Myakka River State Park. This shot is just off the highway, where the river narrows into a serpentine flow. Yellow tickseed flowers are as far as the eye can see.☙

This picture was taken a year ago, standing on the riverbed at Myakka State Park. The drought was severe but this year is better. Proving once again, if you don’t like things the way they are now, just wait…things will change.
