Drought to Drowned – One Month at Myakka

This gallery provides a photographic essay of the last month at Myakka River State Park.  Throughout the winter and spring the Park endured a severe drought. It provided a bonus to those of us who like to prowl the Park.  Areas that are normally inaccessible by foot opened to hikers and photographers alike.  But that access is now denied.  On a positive note, kayak launching has become much easier.
